Scholar-in-Residence, Toccoa Falls College
When half of the
students enrolled in college Greek classes in
any given semester voluntarily elected that
study, there is something very special about the
teacher. Miami Christian College Greek
professor Dr. C. Norman Sellers is now available
to students on a much wider basis through the
services of National Bible College. His
unique style of teaching the language of the New
Testament demands the attention of serious Bible
students across the nation.
Gary Cohen, Th.D.

International Bible Teacher
It
has been my observation that the students in Dr.
C. Norman Sellers' Greek classes have been the
most motivated and the best trained of all the
college Greek students whom I have observed in
the last twenty-five years. He is a master
Greek teacher indeed.
Pastor Paul Carpenter
Jansen, Nebraska
Are you weary of taking some other "authority's"
word for what the "original" says? Well,
now is the time to learn the original Greek;
then you can decide for yourself what it says.
There is no finer instructor than Dr. C. Norman
Sellers. Hw wants you to succeed. I
believe you will! Then you see how greatly
your own teaching ministry will be enhanced to
the glory of God and the edification of the
saints. |
There is
probably no other study that promises the spiritual
rewards which are enjoyed by those who study God's Word
in its original languages. The Greek language is
unrivaled in its richness, clarity, and precision.
Studying
God's Word in the original languages can give one a
freshness and depth beyond what any version or
translation can do. For years this course has been
used by individuals in their homes, by groups in
churches, and by Bible colleges. The video course
is also excellent for those who want to review and
sharpen their skills in New Testament Greek.

Greek Vocabulary and
Forms
by
C. Norman Sellers,
Th.D. |
The audio lessons are keyed to J. Gresham
Machen's New Testament Greek Text. They stimulate New Testament Greek students to study more
diligently the Greek vocabulary and forms that are essential
to understand God's Word.
In addition to Machen's
vocabulary, the irregular verb forms are also pronounced.
As a bonus, Modern Greek phrases are also pronounced by a
native Greek. We have also included favorite hymns
sung in Modern Greek.
Greek Vocabulary and Forms are offered
in three audio formats:

The Greek New Testament (Fourth Revised Edition)
edited by Kurt
AlandThe
4th edition is the same as the 3rd edition (corrected), 1983. However,
the selection of passages for the apparatus has undergone considerable
revision. The evaluations of all sets of variants cited in the
apparatus have been reconsidered, with special emphasis upon evidence
from the ancient versions, the Diatessaron, and the Church Fathers. In
addition, the evidence from the Greek mss. were meticulously controlled
by direct comparison with manuscript readings. The font type is easy to
read, even after many hours of laboring over a passage of Scripture.

Manual Grammar of the Greek New
Testament
by H. E. Dana,
Julius R. Mantey
The need most keenly felt by present-day
teachers of the Greek New Testament is for an accurate, comprehensive,
and concise grammar which is adaptable to the average student.
This need is supplied in this book. The grammar is not offered as
an exhaustive treatment of the grammatical phenomena of the Greek New
Testament, but to give to the student a comprehensive survey of the
chief features of the grammar of the Greek New Testament in simple
outline form.

New Testament Greek For Beginners
by J. Gresham Machen
This book is intended primarily for
learners who are beginning the study of the Greek Testament either
without any previous acquaintance with the Greek language or with an
acquaintance so imperfect that a renewed course of elementary
instruction is needed. This revision, over seventy-five years since the
first edition was published, retains much of the character and
organization of the first edition while accommodating readers today who
lack an understanding of Latin and grammar necessary for fully
comprehending the original edition. For an introduction to the Greek
Testament.

A Workbook Supplement for New
Testament Greek
by C. Norman Sellers
This workbook is intended to be used with New
Testament Greek for Beginners by J. Gresham. It is also to
be used in conjunction with the above VHS Video Greek tapes.
Chapter, page, and paragraph numbers are keyed to Machen's text.
Some chapters require extensive explanation and illustration while
others require little or none. For instance, chapter IV
explains noun--diagramming and usage; then, Chapter 5 introduces
more nouns and needs very little additional explanation.
Most of the examples of either diagramming or
grammar are taken from the paragraph under discussion or from the
exercises at the end of that chapter of Machen's text.
