Branch Campus
Who can be a branch campus? Evangelical Churches who agree with
the
Doctrinal Statement may qualify to be branch campuses. Contact the
Main Office at National Bible College for details. The branch campus
does not need to be a traditional
church building, but wherever the Branch Faculty arranges to hold the classes. The classrooms should meet all local fire and safety codes.
What does it mean to be a branch campus?
A large percentage of the tuitions collected will be returned to the branch campus
as remuneration for their work.
Branch Faculty
Who is
qualified to be branch faculty? A seminary degree is optimal.
However, degreed graduates of accredited colleges with experience in the
ministry of the Word are generally qualified to teach courses as N.B.C.
branch faculty. Contact the College if you have any questions. The College
provides the course syllabus, lecture/study notes, resource materials,
and exams.
The faculty at one branch campus, therefore, will be teaching
the same material as at any other branch campus, although each instructor
will, of course, have his own style.
What is the advantage of being branch faculty? Aside from listing
a branch faculty position on your resume and the intense satisfaction of
teaching important subjects to people who are important to you, faculty
generally receive part or all of the sixty percent of the tuitions as mentioned
above.
Working with the Main Office
What does the Main Office do? The Main Office coordinates all
courses, retains and maintains all records, issues all grades and credits,
and generally handles administrative details. The branch campus makes all
local arrangements. The College sets and maintains the standards by issuing
lecture notes, providing teacher preparation materials (including audio
tapes), providing study questions for the students, and issuing the exams
and answer keys. The College structures each course and provides the syllabus
to guide and maintain that structure.
What does the Main Office NOT do? Generally, the Main Office
does not intrude into your classroom, except to offer the support materials
listed above.
